| Announcements PROJECT KOKUA! Your help is much needed in providing SCHOOL SUPPLIES to the kids in Children's Church. The school supply lists for Waipahu Elementary and Intermediate Schools are posted on the bulletin board for your convenience. The supplies most needed are: folder paper, pencils, blue/black pens, facial tissue, paper towel, Crayola crayons, eraser, and marble composition books. Any amount you can help with would be greatly appreciated. If you have any questions, please see Joyce or Joan. Thank you very much. Meat trays are still needed. Shrimp trays are also workable. See Joan or Joyce for further info. On May 26 the Congregation approved the proposal to lease space to Aged to Perfection. The vote was: 32 votes For, 6 votes Against and 4 Abstentions. We must now begin the process of correcting some of the discrepancies pointed out in the fire inspection such as using flame retardant material, electrical outlets, update of fire extinguishers, “exit signs”, etc. The 5 Day Club is asking for food donations. Items that are needed, which are based on Sam’s Club amounts, are listed on the donation sheet posted on the bulletin board. Thank you in advance. Want to know more about WOCC? There will be a Congregational meeting on Sunday, June 23 after the service, to approve the General Assembly delegate, discuss the conference propositions (if any) and vote in an additional Board of Deacons member, Neal Takamoto. Next Board of Deacons meeting will be next Sunday, June 9 after Worship. |

| Reminders We have been doing audio recordings for most of our services over the past year. If you would like to order a CD of a past sermon please put a note in Pastor Stan's box. We will need a couple of strong people to put the palm trees outside after our worship service concludes every week. Flowers are needed to help beautify the sanctuary. A sign-up sheet is posted on the hallway bulletin board. Prayer Requests Please continue to keep Rev. Nakamura and Jane Nako in your prayers. Please pray for healing and encouragement for them and their family. Your love and support is greatly needed at this time. |
